Stella the talking dog from @hunger4words is a rightful genius, and as the original talking dog, an inspiration to all new AAC students. However, this doesn't mean she is always without her slip-ups! She's just like you and me. Have a look:
Stella's human, speech-language pathologist Christina Hunger, had this to say:
"Mis-hits like these are similar to when verbal speech users accidentally say the wrong word or sound, or when we’re typing and press the wrong key. In fact, the average adult human makes speaking errors ~2-3% of the time in normal, conversational speech. Occasional mis-hits are typical and expected even in proficient communicators, and are more frequent when AAC users are still learning. It’s all part of the process!"
