Using her impressive intellect, Polly successfully came up with a contextual phrase she both understands, and knew her owners would understand too.
Polly used the word HELP to get her owner’s attention, and followed up with HELP PLAY.
The effort and wit demonstrated by Polly’s intentional use of expressive language, communicating that she wanted to play — surely should warrant a gift. The gift she is given: a new button, CHASE.
By learning and understanding the word CHASE, Polly can form more specific phrases in her mind to communicate to her owner exactly how she wants to play, or what she wants to play with. As her owner continues to update Polly’s training, it will be amazing to see what phrases Polly learns and comes up with next!
